Nansha New District covers a total area of 803km² and governs 7 subdistricts and 6 towns. The area is arranged in a setting of One Center , Four Districts based on locations. 

The Pilot Free Trade Zone takes up an area of 60km²  and consist of seven functional clusters:

Port Cluster • International Shipping Development and Cooperation Zone (15 km²)

This area is designated for shipping and logistics, bonded warehousing, international commodity trading and other related industries.

We will explore the resources and potentials to build a high-standard international port, promote the development of shipping service industry, continuously elevate its competency as an international shipping center, form a model base for industries driven by ocean technology, and support Guangzhou as an international shipping center.

Key Enterprises: Baosteel Nansha Logistics Base, GAC TOYOTA Trading Nansha International Automobile Industrial Park, Nansha Automobile Terminal of Guangzhou Port.

Pearl Bay Start Up Cluster · Pilot Zone for Financial Business Development (9km²). 

This area is designated for financial services, headquarters economy, technological innovation and business and trade.

So far, we have completed infrastructure construction, and is introducing businesses and projects, accelerating the construction of a finance and business development pilot zone, and developing a major component of Demonstration Zone for Comprehensive Cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, as well as a world-class central business district of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Nansha Hub Cluster · Pilot Zone for Integrated Development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao (10km²).  

This area is designated for information technology, financial background services, commercialization of sci-tech research achievements, and related professional services.

We aim to facilitate the integrated development between Guangdong and Hong Kong as well as Guangdong and Macao, and establish a production service development base for Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.

Qingsheng Hub Cluster · International Cooperation Zone for Modern Service Industry(8km²). 

This area is designated for artificial intelligence and information technology.  

We will create a multi-billion-yuan-level international AI industrial park which will serve as the pillar for the development of the industry in Guangzhou, build an industry 4.0 pilot demonstration zone as well as an innovation and entrepreneurship base, establish a modern service international cooperation zone and a new platform that enables businesses in the pan-Pearl-River-Delta-Region to tap into international markets and contribute to the construction of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.

Nansha Bay Cluster · International Coastal Gateway of Guangzhou, International Technological Innovation Cooperation and Cultural Creativity Zone(5km²).

With the main focus set on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao modern service industry and the close cooperation and integrated development of international technologies,  this area is designated for technological innovation, cultural creativity, business exhibitions , service outsourcing, shipping service headquarters, cruise yacht economy and other functions.

We aim to focus on major national strategies and essential projects such as marine science development, and create a high-tech innovation highland in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

This area is designated for business service industry, cultivation of new business patterns for foreign trade, and SME headquarters.

We will support the development of headquarters economy, featured finance, commerce and urban complexes, build a comprehensive service platform that facilitates domestic enterprises and individuals to go global, and create a comprehensive service zone for foreign investment.

Wanqingsha Bonded Port Processing and Manufacturing Cluster · Intelligent Connected Vehicle and International Processing and Trade Transformation and Upgrading Zone (10km²).

This area is designated for smart equipment, high-end equipment, new energy vehicles, next-generation information technology.

We aim to support the cluster of inspection and testing, facilitate the transformation and upgrading of bonded logistics processing sector, attract forefront industry projects, create a comprehensive service area for trade processing and transformation and construct an advanced manufacturing leading area that integrates manufacturing, R&D, incubation, Industry 4.0 integrated manufacturing, offshore financial settlement, inspection, testing and certification, bonded logistics processing, and equipment import and export.
